Steep taper SK / BT – spindle measurement – internal taper, angle, form & distance
Differential measurement is a method in which two diameters are compared with each other. Both the taper angle and the taper form are checked. Using the data sheet supplied for each measurement, every µ can be converted into an angular change, enabling an accurate statement about the taper angle.
In addition, the respective opening diameter of the taper to be measured can be determined via mechanical distance measurement.
Differential measurement is a surface-contacting measurement. All standard tapers (internal and external), such as SK / BT / ASME etc., as well as collet seats ER, OZ, drill chuck tapers B.. and Morse tapers MK.. can be measured.
Customer-specific tapers are also no problem.
Only highly accurate taper face location, critical distance dimensions or HSK etc. can only be partially mapped with this device – for these, choose our pneumatic-electronic combination.
